The Sensor Alert Silence feature on the pump is separate from the mySentry system Alarm Silence feature.
This setting allows you to silence your monitor alarms and alerts, but the monitored pump will continue to alarm according to its current settings.
Make sure there are no alarms or alerts currently displayed on the monitor.
Press to turn the alarm silence feature ON.
Press a second time when you are ready to turn the alarm silence feature OFF.
If the Alarm Silence feature has been selected, it will remain selected even when you disconnect or reconnect the monitor to a power source.
This setting allows you to adjust the alarm volume.
Press until the Main Menu displays.
From the Main Menu, go to the Adjust Alarm Volume screen
Main Menu > Go to Utilities Menu > Adjust Alarm Volume
Follow the onscreen instructions to adjust the volume to your desired level.
If the Alarm Silence option is on, then the alarm is silent.
You can also adjust the display light brightness to match your preference.
Press until the Main Menu displays.
From the Main Menu, go to the Adjust Screen Brightness screen
Main Menu > Go to Utilities Menu> Adjust Screen Brightness
Follow the onscreen instructions to adjust the brightness to your desired level.
There is a nightlight on the back of the monitor to help you find it in the dark. You can adjust its brightness to match your preference and to turn it off if you don’t need it.
Press until the Main Menu displays.
From the Main Menu, go to the Adjust Nightlight screen
Main Menu > Go to Utilities Menu > Adjust Nightlight Brightness
Follow the onscreen instructions to adjust the brightness to your desired level.
To switch off the nightlight, press .
The Privacy screen allows you to see an overview of the system data without displaying any specific glucose details.
To activate this screen, press from the Glucose Graphs screen.
The Enter User Info screen enables you to adjust the initials of the person wearing the pump and the pump user image. To adjust this information, perform the following procedure:
Press until the Main Menu displays.
From the Main Menu, go to the Enter User Info screen
Main Menu > Go to Utilities Menu > Edit User Info
Scroll to locate each user initial, pressing to confirm your selection. After you select the second initial, the user image displays.
Scroll to choose your desired image, then press . A confirmation screen displays.
