Linking To a Meter
Device: 523/723 (Revel), 522/722, 515/715, 512/712
Important
If you use the 522/722 insulin pump model WITH a glucose sensor, turn OFF the wireless feature. Manually enter glucose values from your blood glucose meter.
Note
Before linking your BG meter to your insulin pump:
If you use the 523/723 (Revel) insulin pump model with a glucose sensor and have your meter linked, make sure not to calibrate with all of these readings as you will only want to calibrate when BG is stable and not changing rapidly. If you prefer to manually enter BG values while wearing a glucose sensor, turn the meter option OFF to unlink your meter.
Your insulin pump and BG meter must be within 4 feet (1.2 meters) of each other.
Be sure that your insulin pump is not delivering a bolus when you attempt to connect the meter.
Go to the METER OPTION Screen
For 523/723 (Revel)
Main Menu > Utilities > Connect Devices > MetersFor 522/722, 515/715, 512/712 insulin pump models
Main Menu > Utilities > Meter Options
Select ON and press ACT.
Add, delete or review your meter ID(s) as desired following the screen prompts.
Note
Your insulin pump is originally set with the meter option turned OFF. With the meter option turned on, you may add or delete up to three meter IDs. The meter ID is the serial number printed on the back of the meter. Programming your meter's unique ID links your insulin pump to the meter.
